University of Zambia(UNZA)

The University of Zambia, established in 1965, is the largest and oldest university in the country. It offers a diverse range of programs across various fields, including arts, sciences, and social studies. The university is dedicated to providing quality education fostering research, contributing significantly to the development of Zambia and the region. Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ)

The Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ) is a corporate body established in 1983 by an Act of Parliament Number 15 (as amended in 1994), Chapter 137 of the Laws of Zambia with a mandate to set, conduct and award qualifications to candidates who sit and pass the examinations conducted by the Council. The Act was repealed and replaced with Act No. 3 of 2023. The ECZ develops and administers examinations at the end of Primary (Grade 7 Composite examination), end of Junior Secondary School (Junior Secondary School Leaving Examination) and end of senior secondary (School Certificate Ordinary or ‘O’ Level Examination). The Council also conducts Teacher Education Examinations for Early Childhood Education (ECE), Primary Teachers Diploma (PTD) and Secondary Teachers Diploma (STD).

Mulungushi University(MU)

Mulungushi University is one of the public universities of Zambia. Previously known as the National College of Management and Development Studies, it was turned into a university by the Zambian Government in a public-private partnership with Konkola Copper Mines in 2008. The Technical, Entrepreneurial, Vocational and Education Training (TEVET) Authority is a regulatory body established in 1999 by an Act of Parliament. The TEVETA was founded to operate as an independent and autonomous body responsible for technical, entrepreneurial.

ZICA

The Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) was established by an Act of Parliament in 1982 and repealed in 2008. The Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants is a membership body regulating the Accountancy profession in Zambia.

UNESCO: United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) was born on 16 November 1945. UNESCO has 195 Members and 8 Associate Members and is governed by the General Conference and the Executive Board. The Secretariat, headed by the Director-General, implements the decisions of these two bodies. The Organization has more than 50 field offices around the world and its headquarters are located in Paris.

UNESCO’s mission is to contribute to the building of a culture of peace, the eradication of poverty, sustainable development and intercultural dialogue through education, the sciences, culture, communication and information.
